The Mount Making class (June 15 - 18) is the same as the class that Pam Gaible and Earl Lock have taught for over 20 years at the formerly known as Campbell Center. However, this year scholarships are available for people from small museums with limited budgets. Be sure to check out the website for details at www.beloit.edu/ccc
The Advanced class (June 21-23) is offered for the first time by popular demand by students for a class that covers issues that more experienced mount makers have to deal with, such as: mounts for traveling exhibits; estimating the cost of mounts; preparing budgets for mount making projects; fabricating vibration resistant mounts for earthquakes, and next door building construction: and contracting mount making jobs. Students are encouraged to suggest special topics to be included.
