At the Museum of London we connect people with the lived experience of London. The story we tell is one of place and people, evolving through interaction and exchange. We summarise what we do in three words: We Are London.
This role is to support the New Museum project working on the creation of a new London Museum at West Smithfield. The post holder will support the creation of new permanent galleries at the new site. You will form part of a team of technicians and external contractors preparing and producing mounts and display systems for a variety of objects across the Museum’s collection for the new displays.
You do not need to have any academic qualifications, we are looking for someone who has experience of producing mounts for a multi-period, cross-discipline collection – everything from archaeology to dress and photography.
